I had excellent teachers in high school, especially during my senior year. I was able to have a personal relationship with my teacers and I feel like that was a strong influence on my academic career. the teachers that I had were interested in my well being and of my success. they played a prominent role in the development of the person I am today. not only did I learn the subject material in class, I also learned a lot about how to be a good student, and even how to be a good person as well.

My high school Spanish teacher, Mr.Laliberte is my role model. ironically he went to URI and majored in the same thing that I am. at the end of senior year when we all officially declared what college we are going to and what major, everyone teased me saying I was the next "libby" our affectioniate term for Mr. Laliberte. He was an excellent teacher. our class was always interesting and full of interactive and creative ways of learning. we would be learning, yet it didn't feel like learning at the time. It was a cleaver way of teaching us.

the teachers that had the biggest impact on my life were the ones that were truly passionate about teahing and about the subject material. their love of whatever the sbujet was is contagious, we all loved lerning about it. it didn't matter if it was my worst class or the most boring topic. they found a way to make it interesting.
